33 New York Avenue
Property Overview
33 New York Avenue is a property in the heart of the Boston metro west suburban lab and life sciences marketplace and uniquely positioned off of 1-90 between Route 128 and I-495. Originally built to house a local newspaper’s printing press operations, the property was primed for redevelopment.
King Street acquired the building and undertook a comprehensive redevelopment program, which included expanding its footprint, raising the roof height to accommodate GMP use, adding loading, upgrading the power service to the building, installing a modern architectural metal panel and curtainwall glass façade, and enhancing the parking and landscaping. Following the transformation, the building was fully leased to two GMP tenants and successfully sold after achieving full occupancy.
