King Street Properties and Healthpeak Properties celebrated with a grand opening of its new premier life science facility at 101 Cambridgepark Drive in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Electric Hydrogen Co. Leases 187,236 SF Manufacturing Space at Pathway Devens

King Street Properties announced that clean energy firm Electric Hydrogen Co. has leased 187,236 square feet of manufacturing space at Pathway Devens, located at 33 Jackson Road in Devens, MA.

Plenty of room: Central Mass. developers seek to lure life science companies westward

Developers and brokers are using multiple strategies to bring life sciences companies out past Route 128 in Massachusetts.  They cite less expensive real estate, a strong talent pool, shorter commutes, and increasing amenities like culture, sports, and food as reasons to set up shop in Central Massachusetts.

When developer King Street Properties expressed interest in bringing a life-science building to New York’s Long Island City neighborhood in 2016, it was two years before Amazon pinpointed the area as a potential home to its eagerly anticipated HQ2.
